Building a brighter future for B
Elizabeth and Ed have four sons and have looked after many children over the 14 years they have fostered. They currently support 12-year-old B who was placed with them 3 years ago. B has demonstrated excellent academic performance whilst in their care, and passed his 11+ exam to attend a
local Grammar School. Leading up to the exam, the foster carers organised extra tuition to help B to boost his ability and confidence before sitting the 11+ exam.
As well as promoting academic achievement, Elizabeth and Ed have encouraged many out of school activities, and B has participated in Cubs, Judo and a computer club. B also belongs to the youth section of the local church and has learnt how to play guitar and enjoys playing football.
B has been able to enjoy family life in many ways and has been on holidays with the family, including his first trip to France and an adventure to the Seychelles too!
Elizabeth and Ed have worked hard to promote a fun, active and fulfilled life for B. He is succeeding in many ways, and his future looks bright thanks to the nurture and support they have provided.
