First Aid (Level 3 Award in Paediatric emergency)

6 hour course

This course equips the learner to be confident in CPR and Choking for Children and Infants, as well as teaching how to deal with common childhood accidents such as nose bleeds, splinters and allergic reactions. Multiple choice paper and practical assessments are needed to gain the certification.

Please note, as this is an externally accredited award with Ofsted, carers MUST attend the full 6 hours – late arrivals can not be granted access to the training and no one will be permitted to leave early.

This course covers the first half of the Full Paediatric First Aid course that covers the Ofsted recommended syllabus. If carers would like to top up their learning themselves to this full qualification (an additional 6 hours), 1st Act will accept attendees of this Level 3 award on to their second day of training in one of their own venues – the second day must be completed within 10 weeks of attending this session. It is the carers’ responsibility to book and pay for the second day.
