After many months, team Excel Fostering were able to finally get together in the fresh air for the first time since the the pandemic started.
And what better way to celebrate than to dress as sunflowers, take penalties and have an egg and spoon race?! Well done to Parvis and Emma who were judged to be the best dressed sunflowers and to team "Where's Tom" for winning the sports activities.
After spending so long talking to each other through screens, it was such an amazing day, being able to meet in person and full of fun and games. We very much hope we can begin arranging some equally fun days for our foster carers and foster children very soon. It's something as a team we have all greatly missed.
At the very heart of the Excel Fostering team are the children we all bring our skills together for to help to find a brighter future. Like a sunflower, we want the children we help to grow tall and to have the chance to turn their faces to the sunshine.
